This year we celebrate Humboldt Pride’s 21st year of existence in our community. Our annual Parade and Festival was a huge success in 2012. With over one-thousand attendees, it was our most supported year as of yet.
We would like to make 2013 even better! We need a solid planning committee of dedicated volunteers (That’s YOU!!!) to join us at the next meeting. Pride meetings are held on every 2nd Sunday of the month at 6PM at the Umpqua Community Room at 2426 6th St, Eureka (north end of Eureka near Harley Davidson). We will begin planning for our annual festival, which takes place September 14th at Halvorsen Park again this year. Light snacks will be provided at the meeting.
Please pass along this information to all friends and allies who may be interested. Remember, you do not have to be LGBT or Q to volunteer. This is after all, the Year of the Ally!
